Q1. Are you a real manufacturer or a trading company?
A1: We are a direct manufacturer with our own factory in Dongguan, China.Laudtec was founded in Hong Kong on April 2, 2008. Today, we operate a manufacturing facility of approximately 9300m², with in-house mold making, injection molding, assembly and quality control. Our production facilities include 40+ two-color injection molding machines and a Class 100,000 cleanroom for selected production processes.Unlike a typical trading company, we directly manage the key manufacturing processes, from tooling and engineering to production and QC.We welcome customers to visit our factory and see our production capabilities firsthand.
Q2. What are Laudtec's main manufacturing strengths?
A2: Our main strengths are precision tooling, PC+TPU two-color injection molding, protective case manufacturing and new product development. We have developed manufacturing experience in clear cases, magnetic cases, hybrid PC+TPU structures, tablet protective cases and keyboard folios. Our two-color injection molding capability allows us to produce products combining a rigid PC back with a flexible TPU bumper in an integrated structure.
We also provide tooling, prototyping, sample fitting and assembly support for customized projects. For customers developing premium protection products, our in-house engineering and molding capabilities help improve product fit, appearance, consistency and production control.
Q3. How quickly can you develop cases for new iPhone or Samsung Galaxy models?
A3: Fast development for new phone models has been one of Laudtec's core strengths since the early smartphone era. From 2009 to 2015, we built a strong reputation in the UK market for introducing cases for newly released phone models quickly. Our original slogan was:
“Always First with Cases for the Latest Phone Models.”
Over the years, we have developed a structured six-step process:
1.Early device data collection
2.Multi-source data verification
3.Engineering design and prototype validation
4.Mold development
5.Molded sample and real-device fit verification
6.Mass production and launch delivery
This allows us to start development early, control fitting risks and work toward delivering cases before or around the new phone's launch date.
Our goal is simple: when the new phone goes on sale, our customers should already have the matching cases ready to sell.
Final delivery timing depends on data accuracy, validation results and the confirmed project schedule.
Q4. Can you develop a completely new product with custom tooling?
A4: Yes. We support both customization of existing products and new OEM/ODM product development.
Our engineering team can work from product drawings, 3D files, reference samples or a customer brief.
For a new product, we normally review the structure and manufacturing requirements first, prepare the engineering design and prototypes, and validate key dimensions before mold development.
After tooling, we check molded samples for fit, function, appearance and assembly before mass production approval.
Having in-house tooling and injection molding is especially valuable when a product requires design changes, mold adjustments or quick engineering feedback.
We can discuss custom structures, colors, materials, magnetic features, logos and packaging according to the product requirements.
Q5. What product categories can Laudtec manufacture?
A5: Our core business focuses on protection, productivity and carrying accessories for personal electronic devices.
Our main product categories include:
• Smartphone accessories: clear, magnetic, hybrid, silicone and protective cases
• Tablet accessories: folio cases, protective cases and rugged cases
• Keyboard cases: Bluetooth, USB-C direct-connect and other compatible connection designs
• E-reader protection: covers for Kindle, Kobo, reMarkable and related devices
• Laptop accessories: sleeves, bags and carrying solutions
• Screen protection: tempered glass, privacy protection and related accessories
Gaming is also part of our manufacturing heritage. Our founder began his career in gaming accessories, and we continue selected projects for PlayStation 4/5, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
We also develop selected accessories for education, creator devices and other emerging device categories.
Q6. Can you support a complete product category rather than a single SKU?
A6: Yes. This has been an important direction of Laudtec's business development over the past five years.
Many customers begin with one successful product. As the business grows, we can help them expand into additional models, colors, materials, price points and related products.
For example, a tablet accessories program may start with a basic folio case and expand into magnetic cases, keyboard folios, rugged protection and stylus accessories.
We can support product range development, engineering, sampling, manufacturing, packaging and new-model updates.
Our experience includes multi-category private label programs for European retail customers, covering products such as laptop bags, tablet cases, e-reader covers, keyboard folios and stylus accessories.
Start with one strong product. Expand the range as your business grows.
Q7. How do you ensure consistent product quality?
A7: We control quality from product development through manufacturing, rather than relying only on final inspection.
Our quality process includes engineering and sample verification, incoming material checks, production inspections and finished-product QC.
We also operate in-house reliability testing equipment, including temperature and humidity testing, UV aging and dimensional measurement capabilities.
For phone cases, key checks may include device fit, camera openings, button response, surface appearance, magnetic alignment and material performance, depending on the design.
Our factory received an amfori BSCI audit rating of B, and we have obtained GRS certification for applicable certified operations.
We can review customer-specific quality standards, testing requirements and inspection criteria before production.
Q8. What is your MOQ, and can you support small trial orders?
A8: MOQ depends on the product structure, materials, color requirements, packaging and whether new tooling is needed.
For products using existing molds, we can discuss practical trial quantities based on the production setup.
For custom molds or new materials, we will explain the tooling investment, production requirements and suitable order quantities before the project starts.
We understand that new brands and online sellers often need to test demand before placing larger orders.
Our approach is to help customers start with a suitable product and quantity, validate the market and increase volume as sales grow.
Please share the target device model, product requirements, estimated quantity and sales market so we can recommend the right option.
Q9. Can you provide retail packaging, product photos and videos?
A9: Yes. In addition to manufacturing, we have an in-house team supporting product presentation and launch materials.
Our team includes four full-time visual designers, supported by a dedicated structural engineer for relevant product and rendering work.
We can provide product photography, 3D modeling, product renderings, demonstration videos and 3D animations according to project requirements.
For private label programs, we also support custom logos, packaging design, retail packaging, labeling and regional product requirements.
One practical advantage is that product visuals can be prepared alongside sampling and development, rather than waiting until production is finished.
This helps brands, Amazon sellers and retailers prepare product listings and marketing materials earlier.
Q10. What experience do you have with European retailers, private label brands and education customers?
A10: We have practical experience supporting European retail, private label and education accessory programs.
For retail customers, our manufacturing experience includes coordinated products such as laptop bags, tablet cases, e-reader covers, keyboard folios and stylus accessories.
For education projects, we manufacture keyboard cases and protective accessories, including USB-C direct-connect keyboard cases designed for classroom use.
We understand important project requirements such as device compatibility, regional keyboard layouts (QWERTY, AZERTY and QWERTZ), durability, product documentation and batch consistency.
Our approach is to start with the customer's actual product and market requirements, provide samples for evaluation and build a reliable manufacturing program around the approved products.
We aim to be a long-term manufacturing partner, not just a supplier for one order.
